John Thomas is producing a CD as a companion piece to his forthcoming book, “Kalamazoo Gals: the Story of the Extraordinary Women (and a Few Men) Who Built Gibson's WWII ‘Banner’ Guitars." The book tells the story of Gibson guitars made during World War II. More >
The School of Law launched a new mentoring program that matches first-year students with 2L, 3L and 4L mentors. The program, which began in Fall 2011, helps 1L students transition to law school and connect with other students before they’ve even set foot on campus. More >
Several law student organizations co-sponsored the Third Annual Sleeping Giant 5k Run/Walk Challenge on April 21. Proceeds support the Wounded Warrior Project, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to serving wounded veterans. More >

Poverty Awareness Week
Each year, the School of Law hosts Poverty Awareness Week to alert students, faculty, staff and visitors to the things they might not know about poverty.
Students assist local residents with tax returns
Students from the School of Law's Tax Law Society volunteer their services to low-income residents and those who speak English as a second language.
