His work includes:
- Court-connected mediation
- Private mediation
- Mediation of disputes between lawyers as a volunteer for the Connecticut Bar Association committee on Lawyer to Lawyer Dispute Resolution
- Volunteer work as a Special Master in state courts
- Participation in regional consortium of dispute resolution providers in New York City
- Participation in continuing education and training related to mediation and dispute resolution, including transformative mediation, nonviolent communication and collaborative law
Soboslai serves as president of the board of directors for the Dispute Settlement Center of Fairfield County, a private, nonprofit community mediation center providing services to courts and individuals throughout Fairfield County. He is also a member of the board of directors for Family Re-Entry, a private, nonprofit organization with programs devoted to assisting incarcerated individuals and families after release.
