Students assist local residents with tax returns

Students from the School of Law's Tax Law Society assisted residents in the local community with their state and federal tax returns.

The free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is aimed at low- to middle-income area residents and those who speak English as a second language.
Sessions were held at two Hamden libraries during the weeks leading up to the April 15 filing deadline.
