Students research using computers in the law library
Policies

By following these policies for using the library, you will help to foster an environment which facilitates education, research and scholarship for the university community and the general public through collegiality, cooperation and respect. In keeping with these goals, we ask all library patrons to help maintain a quiet atmosphere.

  1. Study rooms are reserved for law students.  Individuals are asked to yield  to law student study groups.
  2. During final examination periods Quinnipiac Law students may reserve group study rooms at the Circulation/Reserve Desk.
  3. Please do not use your pager or cell phone in the library.
  4. Food and tobacco products are not permitted in the library.
  5. Beverages are permitted, so long as they are contained in approved spill proof containers.
  6. Circulating books must be checked out at the Circulation/Reserve Desk before they can be removed from the library.
  7. Non-circulating materials include books indicated as non-circulating, all materials placed on reserve or temporary reserve, and most audiovisual or multimedia materials.
  8. Theft, hiding, or defacing of library materials is a serious offense, and violates the Student Conduct Code. An offense may subject a violator to action by the Student Discipline Committee. Any of these actions may result in the revocation of library privileges.
