The Women’s Law Society educates and increases the awareness of the Quinnipiac University School of Law community regarding issues affecting women.

Among its activities each year are: 

• Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser: The group distributes pink ribbons to promote breast-cancer awareness. Funds collected are donated to the Y-ME Foundation, a Connecticut-based research group.
• Valentine’s Day Drive: This flower and candy drive raises funds for Life Haven, a battered women’s shelter in New Haven.

Recent programming has included a panel discussion on civil unions.
